The University of Kansas Medical Center serves Kansas through excellence in education, research, patient care and community engagement. Its main campus at the corner of 39th Street and Rainbow Avenue in Kansas City, Kan., consists of the University of Kansas School of Medicine, School of Nursing and School of Health Professions, as well as The University of Kansas Hospital, which is a separate entity. The School of Medicine - the only medical school in Kansas - also has campuses in Wichita and Salina.
